The Southwest Figure Skating Club is dedicated to fostering the love of figure skating in Southwest Minnesota. We provide a supportive and encouraging environment where skaters of all ages and skill levels can grow, develop their abilities, and build confidence on the ice. Whether learning the basics or training for competitions, our goal is to help skaters reach their potential while fostering a lifelong passion for the sport.
The Southwest Figure Skating Club Board of Directors plays a vital role in guiding the club’s mission, ensuring its continued success, and fostering a strong and supportive skating community. Board members serve on two-year terms, dedicating their time and expertise to overseeing club operations, event planning, and athlete development.
Each board member brings a unique set of skills and a deep passion for figure skating, working together to create opportunities for skaters of all ages and skill levels. From managing club finances to coordinating events and maintaining compliance with U.S. Figure Skating SafeSport guidelines, the board is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and thriving environment for all members.
In addition to the board, several dedicated volunteers contribute their time and talents to ensure the success of club events, fundraising efforts, and community outreach. Their work is essential in supporting the club’s programs and enhancing the experience of every skater.
Through the leadership of the Board of Directors and the commitment of volunteers, the Southwest Figure Skating Club continues to grow, providing a strong foundation for skaters to develop their skills, build lifelong friendships, and reach their full potential in the sport.
